Q: How do I count my windows? A: An average window size is around 3' x 4'. Windows may open up and down or side to side. If there is a center immovable piece with two flanking sides that open, it is counted as a "triple" and bid at 1 1/2 times the cost of a regular window. Very large windows (6'x6' or larger) may also be figured at 1 1/2 times the cost of a regular window. Skylites and sliding doors are counted separately and cost slightly more to have cleaned than an average window.
